TUTORING
Private
tutoring is a flexible, personalized alternative to a course. Private
tutoring occurs in your home or at a local library. It is available for
all the SATs, TOEFL, SSAT and ISEE. Tutees receive the same excellent
instructional materials as students in group courses.
TUTORIAL STRUCTUREGROUP TUTORING ! Students may opt to share a tutor with up to 4 students. Small groups receive a discount of $100 per additional student for full courses, discount of $50 per additional student for half courses. Both receive: 1 additional session per student.
Most
students choose to meet their
tutor at home.Alternate sites (a local
library) may be arranged. Tutors teach from our course curriculum and
spend more time on challenging subject matter.Tutoring students have a
higher average score improvement than
course students.
WHY TUTORING For students with busy schedules, or in remote locations, private in-home tutoring is convenient. Also, some students thrive in a class setting, many prefer the one-on-one focus and attention they receive with their own tutor. |
